Darbla
Orange with clove is pretty common, but how is orange with cinnamon? Does it exist anywhere already made, or are any of you mixing it? I realize a lot of the mulled cider type scents have these two, but they usually have other scents mixed in. Is it because just orange and cinnamon don't work well without other elements contributing to it? Edited August 22, 2012 by Darbla
FaithfulScenter
I have never mixed the scents, but I think it sounds fantastic!
ChandlerWicks
I just saw that mix the other day. Thought it sounded wonderful! I'll retrace my searches & find the place.
carol k
It's usually called orange spice or spiced orange.

rctfavr3
Sounds fine to me! Don't see why it wouldn't work. I'm always hesitant about pairing certain spices with citrus. Only because some spices seem to heighten that natural orange fuel smell. Orange and Anise is the worst! Smells like "Goo Gone" cleaner. I guess if I were to make a Orange Cinnamon blend, I'd throw in a little ginger FO too! It should temper any turpine smells and help in blending the two FOs together without greatly affecting the overall fragrance. ChandlerWicks
The FO I saw was actually labeled with just the two words. It'll drive me nuts until I find it again.
blacktieaffair
Honey and Cinnamon are great together too You can add it in many different combinations of strengths and get totally different results, and if you throw in a smidgen of a really earthy patch.. WONDERFUL! I like the orange and cinnamon idea.. I gotta try that !
