Lorraine
I used to buy CP soap from someone to make handmilled soaps. I just found a box of soaps in the back of my closet that are about 4 years old. They smell funny to me, not real bad but I wouldn't want that weird scent of the soap (which is unscented) to stay on my hands/body! Is this soap bad and no longer any good for handmilling? Do you think if I shred it and scent it that would cover the bad smell? I'm hoping that some of you CP pros can help me with this. I thought that CP soap lasted for many years. It was made with palm oil, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, soywax, and shea butter. Should I take a chance and go through all the work of rebatching this? I appreciate any help I can get with this! TIA!Lorraine
8-GRAN-ONES
if it smells bad, i would not try to rematch and waste good fo's..if it smells off, it is probably oils that went rancid..that would be my guess...HTH
