JanetsCandles
Ok, this is a first. I'm gradually switching to the liquid dyes for candle making instead of dye flakes. I found a bottle of orange dye the other day that had fallen into a box under my workstation. Anyway, I opened it up to use it and it's weird. It is still liquid partly, but it's also gloopy (is that a word??) around the dropper. The dropper insides are clear, but it's like it gummed up around the dropper itself. So, my question now is "Is this still usable, how do I make it smooth again?" What on earth happened?
Camay
From Aroma Haven's liquid dye page:Tip: To lengthen shelf life if your liquid dye becomes too thick, add a drop of mineral oil and shake well.
