kayearthgrown
Have been making soy candles for years and wanting to get started in paraffin. I have 4630 in a 8 oz. jj and a 14 lx wick. Just been burning about 30 min. and I think I have too big of a wick. What size should I start with for testing? TIA
ksranch
Is LX the only type you have? (I use zinc in 4630)
kayearthgrown
I dont have any zinc, I have rrd's, cdn's, and some size HTP 62's.
ksranch
Okay - I'm sure another 4630 user will chime in shortly!
coconut
Depends on your FO. I do the 4 oz jelly jars, same diameter jar, and use either an LX 8 or 10.
rjdaines
What is the diameter of the jj? I use LX-14 in 2.5 inch containers and that is not big enough with some FOs. With 4630, I am liking CD wicks better.
HorseScentS
I would try the 44 zinc and 51 zinc.
kayearthgrown
The jar is 2.5 inch, I will try the LX-14 I have some of them.
