So I didn't know my posts posted til I tried this. Sorry about the double posts. Just wish this board will be fixed soon.BTW Jeanie. M&P soaps are made with vegetable glycerine. Its a prime ingredient. So I would be cautious first using it if you had trouble in the past. But I have an idea if you were using a commerical glycerin soap it may have had some other chemicals in it that were playing havoc on your skin. Pam W Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 Stella,I haven't read thru all the links you provided yet but I will say that when I add glycerin to lotion in the warmer months, it makes me sweat like a pig - considering I live in the SW desert with near to no humidity, that moisture has to be coming from inside me.
