Stella1952
If so does your house look like the inside of a chimney too? Nah - the walls are holding up, but I always wondered what effect this has on the insides of my computer...:shocked2::tiptoe:

Twoscentsworth
Are you telling us that the studs have "blown out" of the palm wax pillars?
Faerywren
You're assuming that the OP's country is the U.S. I don't think it is.REALLY?I think CandleWic carries it...(they call it Palm #2)http://www.candlewic.com/store/Product.aspx?q=c19,p760&title=Crystallizing-Votive%2fPillar-Palm-Wax---Palm-2Peak carries it...http://www.peakcandle.com/category/waxes/Palm-Wax.aspxBCN has it... (they call it "granite")http://cart.candlesupply.com/product.php?productid=19991&cat=398&page=1IGI still distributes it...Starburst BlendIGI R2778A But it doesn't look like straight starburst... it looks like a blend of starburst and feathering... If it is, I think the blend benefitted the feathering palm because straight feathering isn't as pretty as starburst to me...If they have a wick and will burn, the embeds could easily cause a blowout in palm pillars. Metal heats up. I hope they are removable
jeanie353
You're assuming that the OP's country is the U.S. I don't think it is.Possibly he will share that with us. I got the impression he was in the southwestern part of the US.
Nitewing
IGI refused its last shipment of Starburst. Peak is the only supplier for IGI starburst. I don't know about the others.

I don't know about the others.I get it....so it is specifically IGI that you use. I have only worked with one 50-lb bag so far which was from CS, purchased before they stopped selling it so I'm a little green yet when it comes to palm and the various manufacturers. Thanks for the info. Nitewing
IGI uses the wax from Malaysia or somewhere like that. They test it and if they don't like it, they don't accept it. We get it from Aztec which is closer to us than Colorado so the shipping is about half.
