Angelique
I found one of Voluspa's candles on Amazon with the following description:"Voluspa uses a paper core wick and a blend of food and cosmetic grade paraffin wax with a touch of gel wax for the ultimate in a clean burningVoluspa candles are long lastingMakes a great gift!Hand-poured in the USA"I know they primarily use a coconut wax formula now, and this is most likely an older line, but gel to paraffin? Thats a new one to me
Sharon in KY
I have heard of using gel with paraffin for a dribble type icing.
EricofAZ
Why don't you put it over on the gel forum and see what Richard, er, Kawboy has to say. He's still hanging around. Edited September 28, 2011 by EricofAZ

ChrisR
I swirled gel in my container candles (parasoy) in the past for a different look.

spark-me-up
Well, I have noticed that MOR candles are almost "soft"... I call them a buttery consistancy. They can get away with the softer wax of course, because they're all in glass votives.
