Fuzzbeak Posted August 20, 2011 Share Posted August 20, 2011 I use Starburst palm wax for 3 x 3 pillars. Use about 4 oz of scent for 5 pounds of wax and a CSN 11 wick. Every now and then the candle side ruptures (about 1 in ten candles) during the burn and wax leaks all over the place.I have tried CSN 12 and 14 wicks and it seems to happen more often. CSN 11 wicks often burn a nice circle right through the center of the candle - but every now and then make a mess. You may have to do a search but they are there complete with lots of pictures and hour by hour commentary on the burns and different series wicks and wick sizes and how they perform.
