Johnna
I am throwing a baby shower and the theme is Dr. Seuss. One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish New Fish. I want to incorporate the "fish" on the tables. What I was thinking was to somehow make the images free standing and place down the center of the tables. BUT... my brain cannot figure out what would be the simplest way to make them stand up.. I can scan the images and enlarge and print them on cardstock paper to make them stiff enough but how to craft the standing part is eluding my brain...lol Any ideas?? cedar_lea
print two copies head to head (mirrored) and a tab at the bottom. Fold the cardstock at the head and cut it out like a paper doll. attatch the tabs together at the bottom so you have a triangle. If the tabs are big enough it will stand. NaturallyTru
you need the card to be double what your front will look like, plus extra to fold under to make the bottom stand. So you would have 2 folds...then tape. So if you had a 9" strip, you would fold at 4" and 8".
Georgia
Tape them to sucker sticks (candy section of the craft store) and stand them in little bowls of blue M&M's!
