so-soy
Hi all, well I just wanted to post about this oil...I put a very small amount of this oil from Daystar into my electric oil warmer (maybe a quarter of a capful) ( the BH&G warmers from walmart) along with a little bit of soy wax flakes...this is my easy way of trying out oils. I put this in my family room in the basement and for the first few days it was soooooo strong...smelled wonderful. This oil has lasted over a week in this warmer. Sure its lost alot of its strength by now, but I can still smell it at the top of the stairs when coming down them, I can still smell it in the basement. It hasn't morphed or changed in anyway, still smells like it did when I poured it that first day only not as strong anymore. What an awesome oil! I put a couple of the cubes of the BH&G scented wax that they sell near these warmers in it when I first bought it and the scent lasted one full day where it was sickeningly strong, then by the next day it was morphing into a nasty waxy yuck scent and I had to get rid of it...you know that "cheap scent, wax" stuff that doesn't last. Anyway just wanted to post about this wonderful STRONG LASTING oil...I know we are always looking for oils like this! Thanks Daystar! Ravens
I've been considering that FO. How would you describe it? Thanks!
so-soy
Oh man, thats a hard one to describe. I believe its very much an acquired scent, meaning you will either love it or hate it! If you are familiar with the Lush scents, I will say its very "Lushy"! LOL! I know this doesn't help you in the least, but its so hard for me to describe what this scent smells like. Sorry I couldn't help you maybe someone else who is better at this can describe it for you!
CareBear
to me, "Lushy" would mean patchouli! LOL!But I've not smelled this one, and the online descripton here http://www.nstperfume.com/2006/12/17/lush-bathos-bubble-bar/ speaks more to violet... Its primary note is violet leaf absolute, but these delicate florals are balanced by a bolder blend of jasmine absolute, bergamot oil, ylang-ylang oil, and clove bud oil. so-soy
No not patchouli! By Lushy I mean they have a certain type of smell not a b&bw type smell and if you are familiar with Lush you'll probably get what I mean. And I don't think patchouli at all when I think lush...I smell patch in very few of there scents actually.
Ring of Fire
Bathos is an awesome fragrance. Her dupe of Karma from Lush is dead on too.Absinthe from NG performs the same way. I made some tarts in it and it lasts days. What a heady, intoxicating fragrance.

Their Karma (loaded with patchouli!) has been a favorite of mine for many years now, along with others.
