Kitn
I love the SFIC clear, it is not crystal clear but you can see embeds it in very well. I do fish in it. Edited April 21, 2011 by Kitn
Sharon in KY
I love the SFIC clear, it is not crystal clear but you can see embeds it in very well. I do fish in it.I have some so I'll give it a try, mine has a blue tint.. Any hints on slowing the cooling time down and not getting soap all over the bags? Thanks. Candybee
I've only used the clear from C&S. Works great with embeds you can see them clearly and the base leaves no tint unless you color it. It holds color very well too and you can still see embeds very clearly. Unfortunately C&S prices on M&P have gone up so you have to determine if its still a good deal for you or not. If your base leaves a tint (as some do) in your finished soap it may be worth using one that doesn't even if it costs more.I've read reviews that the Stephensons bases have the clearest of any clear on the market. Can't say as I don't use the clear just the white and GM bases. I get mine from the Chemistry Store and the prices are super hot if you buy in bulk. So you may want to give their clear base a try at least the price is very competive.
