cedar_lea
I've got the supplies and I'm getting ready to try my first batch of melt & pourI was told I should spray the plastic molds with pam or mold release. I actually don't own a cooking spray. I always feel like it makes things smell like propellant.I'm certain I'm not just being crazy. Do any of you notice this? Is there any brands you use or don't use because of it?
Candybee
I never had to use any spray or mold release in plastic molds for M&P. M&P typically pops right out of the mold.On the other hand candle wax may not. I assume if you purchased them from a candle supply they are probably referring to mold release for candle wax. SatinDucky
I always just stuck them in the freezer for a few minutes, pop right out.
cedar_lea
We didn't use anything when I did my soap but it did take some time of gentle working at the edges to get it to give. Maybe next time I'll try the freezer, I just didn't understand why it works so I didn't bother.
