heavenly scents
can anyone give me the differences in these two waxes?
EricofAZ
4630 is the Harmony blend, 4633 is the J-223. I don't know if there is a comparison here on this forum. Use the search tool. Both seem to be a single pour wax. Some folks prefer the Harmony for HT. Both seem to have good adhesion to the containers. I have both and have not made up my mind as to which I prefer. They seem to wick similarly. Both are pretty sticky to work with and slimy to the touch. mparadise
I never cared for the J223 but loved both 4630 and the J50 wax. These 2 gave better scent throw in my opinion. J223 was ok but just didn't do it for me personally.
WillowBoo
I've tried the 4630 and found it smoked a bit. Does the 4633 smoke?
EricofAZ
I'm finding the same. The Harmony smokes a bit and has less HT than I like. I'm ditching it. The Harmony IMHO responds better to CD wicks than ECO's. CD's tend to smoke IMHO.The J223 for me responds better to ECO's. Less smoke. Not so sure that it outdoes J50, but it wicks very similarly.I'm going back to 4786. That is a multi pour wax but man does it have a great HT and seems stable no matter what FO or amount. I can push it a bit on FO percentage and its fine. Edited February 1, 2011 by EricofAZ
