rebeccajo99
http://sironasprings.wordpress.com/2009/11/03/soap-design-class/I saw these soaps online (the top one) and I want to know how to do them. I've done searches on here, youtube and google trying to find instructions, but just can't find them. What I did find that it is an advance technique, so I am going to have to practice CP soap first and get that master before attmepting this. (I have cphp mastered and just having a blast )Thanks in advanced
Barbara AL
That is the Mantra Swirl created my Ms Lilly I found a link on crafterserver to another person doing the Mantra. Here is one that I did.http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85413&highlight=Mantra+Swirlhttp://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85119&highlight=Mantra+Swirlhttp://duffinsorientalbeauty.wordpress.com/2009/11/07/mantra-swirl-by-sonnee/The trick is how you cut the soap once it comes out of the log. You have to slice the soap down the middle of the log and then cut it in 2 1/2 inch lengths. You can't cut it like sliced bread to get this unique design.Barbara AL Edited October 4, 2010 by Barbara AL

rebeccajo99
Thank you very much!!! That blog is very helpful and detailed. I can't wait to try this now. Hopefully CP comes as quickly and naturally as what cphp seemed to do. The recipe I use for my cphp should work for cp too right? I thought I read that somewhere

Mine will probably be a month or two yet as I want to get cp mastered first. Need to do a little more reading on cp before attempting my first batch and need to figure out when/how to cool the lye water with my children around. You Guys are Awsome!I have not had a chance to since starting this post. My youngest outgrew his nap and we started counciling for his attachment issues since then and my soaping time has been cut to almost nothing. I have 1 night a week to work on things now (if I'm lucky) when my husband is home.
IwantItgreen
You too. Mine will probably be a month or two yet as I want to get cp mastered first. Need to do a little more reading on cp before attempting my first batch and need to figure out when/how to cool the lye water with my children around. The recipe they used (on the translated site) looks like it should make a nice soap as well. IwantItgreen
Actually I was thinking about it! I had in the back of my mind to do Peak's Cool Citrus Basil in yellow and green pop micas. What color should I do for the dark center? I only have the Pop mica's for color.
