I saw these soaps online (the top one) and I want to know how to do them. I've done searches on here, youtube and google trying to find instructions, but just can't find them. What I did find that it is an advance technique, so I am going to have to practice CP soap first and get that master before attmepting this. (I have cphp mastered and just having a blast :yay:)

Thanks in advanced

The trick is how you cut the soap once it comes out of the log. You have to slice the soap down the middle of the log and then cut it in 2 1/2 inch lengths. You can't cut it like sliced bread to get this unique design.

Thank you very much!!! That blog is very helpful and detailed. I can't wait to try this now. Hopefully CP comes as quickly and naturally as what cphp seemed to do.

The recipe I use for my cphp should work for cp too right? I thought I read that somewhere

I can't wait to try this myself, thanks for starting this thread. Post pic's of your results.

You too. Mine will probably be a month or two yet as I want to get cp mastered first. Need to do a little more reading on cp before attempting my first batch and need to figure out when/how to cool the lye water with my children around.

Anyone try this yet? (besides the obvious pros:laugh2:)

I've been reading a ton of stuff in the last 2 weeks that you all have posted on the CP soap. You Guys are Awsome!

I have not had a chance to since starting this post. My youngest outgrew his nap and we started counciling for his attachment issues since then and my soaping time has been cut to almost nothing. I have 1 night a week to work on things now (if I'm lucky) when my husband is home.

The recipe they used (on the translated site) looks like it should make a nice soap as well. Soap at night when the soap fairies are in bed too!
