kyme1911
I was just looking through Candle Delirium's site checking out all the different lines when I came across this one., Cire Trudon candles offer a paraffin-free wax as well as no mineral substances derived from petrochemistry. This unique wax is fabricated with palm, rice, soy and copra oils and the wicks are pure cotton. Has anybody ever heard of a wax blend like this? felixncharlie
http://www.candledelirium.com/Cire-Trudon-Candles/For 75.00 for 9.5 oz, they had better light themselves!!! LOL:laugh2:
Ravens
OMG, unbelievable! Do they add gold dust to these candles? Sorry, but no matter how good a candle throws, or how well it's made, $75 for a little over 9z. is highway robbery! JMHO
Judy, USMC
Found another line that is offering a 6.5oz candle or 5oz room spray for only $60.00!!!!! http://www.candledelirium.com/Diptyque-Candles/Back on topic now - so it's palm, rice, soy and coconut. Here's the link on how they get the copra from coconut.... http://www.kokonutpacific.com.au/index.html?production/copra.htmlThe rice has me a little confused since I couldn't find any info about using it in candlemaking. The only guess I could make is maybe they add it like we add coconut oil - just a teaspoon or more (possibly rice bran?) to cut the frosting and create smoother tops?Who knows ...
