Where do you buy cocoa butter?

Is cocoa butter one of those things you can by at the grocery store or an online only type product? I know this is a dumb question but, oh well....

I've not found it any where in the stores except Walgreens & it's like a dollar an ounce. You might want to check out wholesalesuppliesplus.com they have free shipping. HTH I'm hoping someone will do a butter & oil co-op soon.

Thanks! That helps. I would like to make some sugar scrubs for myself and a friend and only need a small amount to try so if it was available locally, I wanted to go that route.

some cooking supply stores have it... more than you would pay at a supplier but not terrible.

Some health food stores have it, it does cost more than online, but if you just need a little bit, it is a good place to buy the CB.

I have hard time finding it in a store too (never seen it at Wallgreens, but I'll have to double check), and not all health food stores have it. I've seen cocoa butter with a bunch of other ingredients in it, but not pure cocoa butter. I would call up your local health food stores and ask if they have it in stock. But if you can't find it in a store after all, like somebody already said, WSP is a good place for a small quantity. It's 12.75 per pound.

I ordered some from wsp. Thanks! I just didn't want to do that and then find out that it was at your local grocery if only you knew where to look.
