starfox1
I know this has probably been discussed before but I can't seem to find it. I notice that many sites have similar F.O names and descriptions. Of course with so many that is likely...For instance, I notice that many Nature's Garden scents can be found at other places, have strikingly similar scents when I compare them. I would say identical. Could many of these suppliers that we buy through just be getting the F.O's from the same wholesaler and cutting and packaging them?Do you know of any suppliers that have the same exact fragrances as each other?I was going to order Irish Green Tweed at NG and noticed the pretty much same thing at Aroma Haven... I know NG's scents don't always throw all that well for me so I was going to try the more expensive AH version but if they are the same.... Candybee
Why does that surprise you? Many of us buy from the same supplier. Why wouldn't several suppliers by from the same manufacturer? There are some oils that you find at one supplier by one name that will be the exact same thing at another. Thats why the fragrance twin oil list was started: http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20804&highlight=fragrance+twinsAs far as 'cutting' oils a good supplier will not dilute or add anything to the oils they purchase. If you suspect your supplier is then find another.
Sharon in KY
All the FO suppliers I have tried have oils that will not throw in my wax. And they may all have Apple pie some smell the same and others will be sooo different. That's why we try from a lot of companies. I have a bunch I'm getting rid of because I don't like them although others love them. I really think that's why we have the customers we have, they like our take on smells. Darbla
Do a search for the word "twins" and you will find an interesting thread...
