ah-soy
What's your favorite lemon based fo for bath and body? If it's from NG that would be great since I'm getting ready to place an order there...
LovelyLathers
I love Backwoods lemon tart. It sells very well in scrubs, soap and room fresheners,. I made a body spray in it and it sell ok. I have blended it with Sugared lime, lavender and vanilla. All which has sold well for me.
CBE
Never tried any lemon based scents from NG, but this is what I have tried and liked:Bakery lemon----> Iced Lemon Biscotti DS (Makes you drool!)Regular lemon----> London Lemon Curd DS (it smells more tart than sweet to me, but definitely has some sweetness to it)ETA: I remember someone mentioning that BW Lemon Tart smells just like London Lemon Curd too! GourmetSoy
NG's Lemon bars would be fab in B&B! I have a sample bottle here that I used in the oil burner. NG's Lemon is more of a fresh lemon if that's what you're looking for.
kyme1911
I like NG Capri Olivo, it smells like Philosophy's "Somebody". That is my families favorite body wash, so now I can put that FO in bar soap. It's lemony but not bakery. More like green tea and lemon...
Scented
Regular lemon----> London Lemon Curd DS (it smells more tart than sweet to me, but definitely has some sweetness to it)ETA: I remember someone mentioning that BW Lemon Tart smells just like London Lemon Curd too!I like the LLC, but I don't think it can be compared to BW's at all. The thing I found to be a match in the products I've had with both was they both had lemon in them. You know, lemongrass and rosemary EOs together make a splendid combination ... just saying. ah-soy
Thanks everyone...my problem is I'm just not sure what type of lemon I want. Just something lemony LOL! I think I will try the lemon tart from NG but may have to stray and try the other suppliers too...what's a few more suppliers anyway???:rolleyes2
kitchenfairy
From NG I like Lemon Meringue Pie for bakery and Chubba Dubba Weight loss for non bakery. (I rename that last one. )
deisel
just tried lemon verbena from CS, and love it! not a bakery type though-just fresh clean and lemony. also mixed it with lavender for in my wash. that was great too, but the lemon was even stronger than the lavender!! hth-kris
Candybee
I love using straight Lemon from C&S. It smells just like fresh squeezed lemon. I mix it with 1/3 Bacci de Miele from Southern Gardens for a honey sweetened lemon. Southern Gardens also has a wonderful Lemon Sugar or is it Lemon Drops? Used to use that until I found the Lemon from C&S.I also love Iced Lemon Biscotti from Fillmore. This one is a bakery scent with a lemon infusion that is divine! lsbennis
Have to second the Iced Lemon Biscotti from Fillmore...more bakery but a strong great lemon scent.
asheebeans
Lemon Merengue (sp?) pie from NG is awesome! I use it in my lemon scrub and it is a big hit.
soapgirl10
I recently made a batch of Lemongrass CP soap bars and they really smell like lemon. I think it was a good choice for lemon.
