bramoncada
My 464 still has rough tops post burn even after i added 1 tsp per pound at 185 degrees f. ANY SUGGESTION?? I also cooled them in my stove to make sure they didn't cool too fast as well..
LuminousBoutique
Thats normal, and all part of the "charm of soy". different FO's can affect it more than others. Once a candle is blown out, the top will dry differently each time, depending on conditions around the candle.
elfcat
I'm kind of relieved. I thought when people spoke of "rough tops" that it was really horrible. That actually looks normal to me for soy. I never worry about it as a buyer and a chandler. As long as the candle smells awesome, isn't a torch and doesn't leave a lot of soot, I'm happy. How is the HT? jonsie
That looks typical to me too for soy. However, no harm in experimenting with other veggie additives. I suggest buying some container palm and adding 1% to see if you have any improvement post-burn.
