Darbla
I got some wooden molds a few weeks ago (just plain ol' rectangle shaped), lined them with wax paper, poured soap in a few hours ago, and now the soap isn't coming out. The paper is just ripping in my hands instead of lifting out. Will putting this in the fridge or freezer help or hurt? Any other suggestions? Candybee
I never tried a wooden mold for M&P. Try the freezer. Let it chill for a few minutes then try it. I would also try flipping the mold over and whacking the bottom to loosen the soap.
Darbla
Dangit. It was in the freezer about 30 mins and it still won't come out. Banging doesn't help either. Trying to gouge it out now.
Candybee
Hope you get it out. I wonder if you could heat gun the bottom and sides. I suppose its too big to stick in your microwave?
