joanncat18
Here are my first tarts that I am going to test. They are the same scent I have been working with my other tests. Jamacia Me Crazy. Decided to do hot pink and orange because I love the layered look, but the pink turned out a lot more pastel then I thought. I still like them! joanncat18
I guess I should tell you more about them. It's 50 % acu para 30 blend wax and 50 % 4625 pillar blend wax. 6% FO.

deb426
Looks like you did a nice job on the layering.

NiksWaxNWicks
Those are gorgeous! I did something similar this spring.. I will post a photo. Only difference was I used embeds on the top to reflect the scent type.
joanncat18
Yeah I love those too, but don't want to add that cost right now. For the embed molds I mean, but I love the layered look.
NiksWaxNWicks
Im lucky... I know a lady who does the most amazing embeds, and her prices are nice too!! Her link is :http://www.scentsational-wax-delights.com/She does amazing work! And she is the type of lady who will bring in things for you as well. I am getting her to do a few special things for me hehe I am super excited about them too! Its all hush hush, but I will post the photos when I have some made! jaxonsmom
What type of wax do you use ? I use soy and have a problem with my layers separating
joanncat18
I think I put it above. But it's 50% acu para 30 ( which is 30% soy, 70% parafin) and 50% 4625 (pillar parafin blend). The acu para 30 is a soft container one pour so I needed to add something to harden it...hence the 4625. They turned out really soft and creamy feeling, but not too soft. I will test them early next week...I might adjust a little with the percentages.
