Clamshells & Labels

Hi All,

I was wondering how everyone labels their clamshells. Do you put a label on the outside or put something on the inside?

I use a 2x4 label with all the info, cut slightly in length, on the outside of the clamshell package. I have thought about trying to do an insert on the inside instead, but still experimenting with that one.

Never thought about labeling from within, the few I did was on the outside....

I put my label on front and my warning label on the inside cover.

I use card stock and put it inside. I print on both sides.

I print labels (with logo, scent and instructions) on full sheet labels - 8 to a sheet, cut to size and apply to the outside.

This a picture of what I do for mine.

I just print on photo paper, cut it to size, stick an address label on the back with directions and warnings, and close it inside the clamshell. Someone in another thread brought up the concern that they may discolor but I have not had the issue occur. I still have the exact same ones that are in this photo and everything looks great. By closing them in the clamshell you are protecting them from damage and it looks alot nicer IMO.

HI - We use an address label, printed with our logo and details on the front of the clam (pic on our website!)
