Rae
Has anyone heard anything about them closing? There is a gift shop my bnl called on during Christmas in Mississippi. They were very happy with Tyler's candles. They called my bnl last week to tell him Tyler was closing and was needing candles. She carried their full line. Their website says "under construction." Anybody know anything?TIARae
glittergirl
They are big in my area (Texas), wow, I can't hardly believe it. Of course, I never thought Dreamers candles would close shop either. They had a HUGE biz, rows of metal buildings they made candles in. SharonA
Dreamer's closed? Wow. They had reps all over the place. That's one of the reasons I quit doing craft shows. Got tired of having to compete with Dreamer's.
Debra Phelps
I am 60 miles from Tyler. They have candles everywhere. And said to be a great candle. If they close, I will be really surprised. I knew that a lot of little candle makers quit in this area, but I would not understand why Tyler would quit. I thought Dreamers just cut way down. I didn't know they quit. Wow. I guess I feel blessed to be able to sell what I do. Thank You Jesus.
Debra Phelps
The site is under construction, but it says check back soon. I pulled up many sites that carry their candles. Many were closing their doors. If the gift shops are closing, that would be a good reason why Tyler has to close. Sad.
clonefan80
Don't know about them closing but they sure make it tough for small retailers to order from them when their opening order min is $1500. Not sure what their reorder min is.
ForHisGlory
WOW, I have a gift shop wanting to pick up my candles. They carry Tyler as well. Maybe they are closing and she isn't telling me that. I'll have to ask?!
Rae
Please let me know what your shop tells you.Rae
TraciS
Could be true but their site has been under construction for over a year and half. I have looked for their scent names several times and have always had to google some of their retailers to find info.
ForHisGlory
Talked with a gift shop owner that carries Tyler and she said she hasn't heard that they were going out of business.
MeganJ29
Yah, the website has been under construction for a little over two years ??? I don't know why though. I actually got in contact with a Rep two weeks ago so they're still open but it's still really strange that the website isn't up.
Debra Phelps
If their site has been down that long, no wonder they are going out of business. How are you supposed to order. And see the new scents.
bugtussle
Tyler does not have online ordering. They only wholesale. Carole
Debra Phelps
Still Carole, I would think that they would have a website for the wholesale customers. Why would they shut that one down and pay for it for a year? Just thinking. I know that every where I go, I see Tyler Candles. They have to be doing good. Maybe they stopped taking new customers. Must be nice.
