CandleMkrInTN
We just bought a 6 bedroom/4 bath house. I have a room that is being "renovated" for my work shop. Again... :yay: My question, I was asked if I want my computer armour w/printer in that room. It will be off to the corner and can be put bhind a wall, kind of like a cubicle setting. What do you think?? Do any of you have your computer/printer in your work area? Thanks for your input. J
Sherl
That will work.. just keep it away from the production area. I'm amazed at the places wax and stuff can get. I have a retail location, a shop and an office even further back in the building.. that is where I set up the laptop and have my printer. candlelady
Definitely! I have a 20'x40' candle shop with a supply closet (8'x10'), pouring island, sinks, refrig, countertops, shelves, melter and my "office" in one corner with printer, computer, labels,,,,etc... I love having it all in one room!Congrats on the large house too! I had to move out of ours....way too small for the candlemaking...So we built a large shop with me at one end....:smiley2: Carrie
Candlebuddy
I think your layout is fine ... My candle area is L-shaped with my computer, files, etc. included.

adillenal
My computer/printer is in my house. My work area is in a separate building. Unless I want two computers, it would not work for me to have my computer in my work space.
fredron
I work in the basement, and the computer is on the other side of a dividing wall, but in the same room. I keep a jar warmer there also.Fredron
SliverOfWax
If you use a digital scale, having a computer nearby can throw off the accuracy.
TheQueen
If you use a digital scale, having a computer nearby can throw off the accuracy. I did not know that.
