kestagano04
Can you add Hydrolyzed Silk Powder to mp base? How much is a good amount and at what point during the process is best? Thanks!Stacey
bells4shells
I don't know, but I'm curious! I don't know the texture of the hydrolyzed silk (never used it before). But, if it's a powder, you may try to mix it with some glycerin first so you don't get chunks of it in your soap and then mix it all together. Let us know how it turns out. kestagano04
Thanks for the tip. :smiley2: I'm expecting to receive some silk in the mail soon. I have to wait for the base I'll be playing with to come after Southern Soapers ships out their orders from the pre buy. I hate waiting. Candybee
I've never tried adding liquid or powder silk so I am curious to find out how you like it and how much you used and if it made a real difference in your soaping. Please let us know. Thanks.
