Rae
I am wanting to learn to make soap and was going to do the pre-buy on Southern Soapers. My question is, can you use the same silicone mold that you use for candles for the soap? If so, how do you get it clean enough to use both ways? I have been making candles for about 10years and am ready to learn something new. :yay: TIA!Rae
lindanelson
If my silicone molds have a lot of wax on them, I put them upside on a foil lined cookie sheet in the oven. Then I wash them with hot soapy water. Let dry competely. Then I can use them for m & p soap.If not alot of wax, then I use my heat gun to melt the wax, wipe it out with a paper towel and then wash in hot soapy water.
