anabanana's candles
I am looking for a goatsmilk melt and pour suspension soap. I saw the clear on at WSP and I am looking for something white. Any ideas?
Candybee
Do you mean you want a white base to suspend in a clear base? Or do you want to suspend in a white base? And what do you want to suspend?

Candybee
Most M&P suppliers carry a white base. Or are you looking for a 'white' base other than white; say goats milk base is white; shea butter base is white. There are many 'white' bases to choose from. But there is also a plain white base. You can add oatmeal, herbs, or whatever in any of them. What makes a base white is the addition of a whitener like titanium dioxide.
prairieannie
To add to what Candybee said.. you can make most bases suspend as well, it just requires some attention. You have to add your oatmeal or whatever as the soap is cooling and keep stirring it until it suspends. If you add it while it's too warm and just leave it, it will sink to the bottom surface (top of the finished bar). Continually stirring it as it cools will allow suspension. It's a bit time consuming, but it will work.
