hellen
Hi guys,I'm wantint to try 50/50 soy and parrafin....as well as 70/30 Soy Parrafin.I use 415 and 10oz apocathery jars. Wicks that are available to me here in Aussie are ECO, CDN and HTP. Can you please help me in suggesting which type/size wick to start testing with please?Cheers,Hells
Kaybee23
I have used HTP wicks in my 415 for years, after trying several different wicks. I just like the way they burn. I have not tried them in parasoy blends, so I can't tell you how well they would do in it.
tootie04
For your 50/50 or 70/30 blend try CDN's and/or ECO's, I cant help with size cause I dont do that size jar....tootie
hellen
Thankyou.....I often make candles in the jar...all soy though. I use CDN 20 or 22...or 2 x CDN's 8's.I'll test with those and see how I go for a starting point. Thanks againCheers,Hells
tootie04
If you are doing a 50/50 mix you are gonna wanna go down seveal sizes then test. The same wick you used for soy will be way too big for a mix.tootie
