diamondk
The color black doesn't go over to well here. Could I use maybe black for the bottom layer of my melt and then maybe a gray for the top? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. TIA
Scented
Amber is an orangish gold color.
Candybee
I second the golden orange but with a touch of brown.
SliverOfWax
Where did you get your Black Linen and Amber? That sounds like something I must have!I don't dye my candles, so can't help there.
sockmonkey
I see that NG has Black Linen & Amber and I thought it was funny--they show a picture of silky black fabric, not black linen. Personally, when I see the name black linen, it doesn't strike up a nice image in my head. For some reason, I think of coal miners. If black doesn't work in your area, I would give it a different name (Midnight Amber?) or just make it a golden color and call it Amber & Black Linen. I would avoid grey all together.
