JudyN
I'm trying to make gold candles using dye chips, I used two for 1.5 lbs of wax and it looks more yellow that gold. Should I use more gold chips or is there another color that I can add to make it look more gold. I'm limited on colors as I haven't gotten my liquid dye yet. I do have black but I don't think that will help.
MaryinCary
I would add a little bit of brown.

Donita
Check this out:http://www.shawfloors.com/DesignCenter/MyColor/ColorWheel.aspTry adding a little purple....just a speck. I have dye chips that are very yellow too.....not the usual pretty gold.....then I got gold blocks from Candlewic and they are almost brown....ugly. So I use 1 chip of Pourette chip pp and a speck of the gold block....and I usually get a decent gold. Both use to be consistent, but now they are both off. I bough a whole bunch of blocks from CW that say they are Hunter......well it is the most beautiful pale aqua I have and they tell me that is just the way it came.....come on now!!!!!!!!!! So now I make my hunter. And remember that orange and blue make a brown too as well as purple and green. Good luck! Donita
