mrsposey
I've been using IGI 4794 for my melts. I just started selling them recently after months and months of testing and have been doing well. Now, my supplier has discontinued this wax and recommends IGI 4641 or 4625 as a replacement? Do I need to retest all of my scents? Has anyone used either of these waxes? This is so frustrating as I have a lot of orders and really don't want to switch now, but there are no suppliers close enough to me to justify the high shipping. Dolphin146
I feel for ya. My wax was also discontinued But I would say yes I would test again using a different wax. To me tho tarts are alot easier to test than jar candles and pillers. Good luck. Regina
grama
I only use 2 waxes - IGI 4786 for containers and 4625 for pillars, votives and tarts. I also make tarts out of 4786. Just which ever wax I am pouring at the time. All left over wax always goes into tarts. I have not problem with scent throw from either wax.
