brempel Posted August 6, 2008 Share Posted August 6, 2008 I have a really dumb question. I am measuring out ingr. for soaping. My recipe calls for 10.13 ounces. My scale measures 10.1,2,3 etc. how do you get the .13 ounces. My recipes has alot of .12 etc and I don't know how to do this.br Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ladysj Posted August 6, 2008 Share Posted August 6, 2008 Mine does the same thing so I just round down if it's under 5 and round up if it's over 5 the last number that is. So for .13 I would do 10.1 ounces. It's worked well for me. Now if it's on the lye part I usually always round down on that part.
