I'll be using a slab type mold instead of my usual log one so now I need to figure volume.Am I correct in my thinking that since you use equal salt and oils, in figuring the batch size I'd cut it in half in soap calc? I mean.. the mold is 3 pounds, so in figuring lye in the calc, I'd use 1.5 lb of oils since the other 1.5 lbs to fill the mold will be salt.
