Dana Mae
I've made enough batches of soap now that I'm ready to try some color! I really like the micas and I know some seem to use a solid colorant as well. Can someone steer me towards what might be good to try?Maybe something with sampler packs or some such?thanks!dana

donna4909
I like the select shades from Tradewinds. They have printable and online color charts, and they can be mixed to create nearly any color. You can the basic 8 set in 2 oz bottles for $26, and they will last forever! www.twfc.com

Dana Mae
I overspend on everything. I live alone, and have more soap and candles than I know what to do with! My ex (or soon to be ex husband, ) said he could smell my candles burning outside my apt! I am in a major soap mode, I have no idea what to do with all this soap I am learning to make!POP, select shades.........what about all the marvelous pearls etc. in micas? Anyone read the dish thread on micas?:drool:I am way too hooked on this!!!! :highfive:dana

bells4shells
I had been wanting to try the Select Shades and then read somewhere that they take forever to send out. Anyone have good experience with the supplier?
