Hobby Lobby's Honey Almond

Hi all, I am new here.

We have a product that uses quite a bit of Honey Almond scent (in a blend), but the only one I have found to mesh well is the Hobby Lobby's Something Fabulous brand. They have refused to even consider selling to me in bulk, and it is far too expensive to continue buying it in the stores.

Can someone suggest a comparable Honey Almond that I can buy in bulk?

On the back of the label or somewhere should tell you the manufacturer's/supplier's name. Start there.

Good luck with that, I've spent the last month just trying to get someone to e-mail me back about an ingredients listing for their M&P. There isn't anything on the bag of it.

So i'm just using it up making sample for my site photography and with the kids for a rainy afternoon activity. Will have to wait to make actual inci label-able product till I can order some SFIC bases to use.

Since HL fragrances aren't all that popular around here and frequently different people will have a different perception of what an oil smells like, I'd say your best chance would be to order some samples from different suppliers and compare the scent to what you have there.

Chances are that's their size they get and as pointed out, it's expensive to buy so small. Some of us may have started using HL stuff, but found other places to go for better products.

I can't help you because I don't use HL anything, but once-upon-a-time they had a contract with a warehouse in Okla. (they probably still do) and we were able to list our business with them to get some items at a much reduced rate. They didn't sell a lot of FOs at the time and I seriously doubt they even offer a larger size so they aren't going to offer bulk.

HL does offer some scents in a larger 4oz size, but from what I've seen it the usual (read boring and usually not the better of their scents) like vanilla and cucumber melon (at least at my store), and like Scented said, I've gone on to finding a better one I like.

Though for my candles I still buy their big bottle of Spiced Apple and Midnight, haven't found anything close or able to replace the first or the second.

You could try WSP's honey almond. I don't think it is similar but it is good and I sell plenty of it.

I also haven't sniffed anything from Hobby Lobby in quite a few years, but it may be a starting point for you

I didn't see anything larger than the 8-oz, but that may be larger than they have in the store. It looks like it's only for soap, but you didn't mention being interested in making candles with it.

As suggested I went ahead and ordered a bunch of samples from various scent companies.

Yes, I was buying the 8 ounce bottles for soap, skin cream, reed diffusors, and my new fat-burning tanning lotion (it is a scent mix with the honey almond as the base) but it gets quite expensive at $10 per 8 ounces.

I tried contacting the factory, and have yet to receive a reply even after 2 months.

Thanks for your help....once I get the samples in I will post a comparison.

As you look at supplier sites I think you will find that $10 for 8 ounces is quite inexpensive. Try Wholesale Supplies Plus.
