Alycia Posted November 2, 2005 Share Posted November 2, 2005 i was wondering if it is a bad thing to double wick a candle in a small tin container. say between 2 and 4 oz. the only reason i ask is because i think it would look neat. but i dont know if this would cause the wax to melt too quickly causing dip holes or some other catastrophe. what do you think? Kaybee23 Posted November 2, 2005 Share Posted November 2, 2005 I have to agree. I don't know about paraffin, but with soy I only double wick anything about 3" or larger. I like to double wick, I think it makes the candle look prettier. Even the smallest of the HTP series double wicked would be total overkill and overheat and possibly break your container.
