is it bad to double wick this?

Recommended Posts

i was wondering if it is a bad thing to double wick a candle in a small tin container. say between 2 and 4 oz. the only reason i ask is because i think it would look neat. but i dont know if this would cause the wax to melt too quickly causing dip holes or some other catastrophe. what do you think?

I have to agree. I don't know about paraffin, but with soy I only double wick anything about 3" or larger. I like to double wick, I think it makes the candle look prettier. Even the smallest of the HTP series double wicked would be total overkill and overheat and possibly break your container.
