AttachedTofive Posted November 1, 2005 Share Posted November 1, 2005 The only color I can't seem to achieve in soy wax is navy blue. I use the dye blocks. I got a beautiful dark purple last night. I can't figure out why the blue won't get dark like that, it just stays an ugly medium blue. Even red and brown look great. Any suggestions? Kaybee23 Posted November 1, 2005 Share Posted November 1, 2005 I think it is hard to get a really good navy in soy. I use liquid dyes and for me it is still hard to get a good navy. Is it the one specifically called Navy Blue or is it one the other blues?Well, I'm using "Navy Blue" right now since the other blues I tried were ugly and now the navy is just as ugly I may try adding a little black - or heck, maybe some of this purple!!
