Grumpy Girl
I was reading spec sheets very early this morning and saw that this wax boasts the ability to hold up to 20% FO... which I could never imagine using both because of cost, and safety, but it is interesting none the less. Has anyone ever used this wax, and if so, how well did it work for you, and how much FO did you/do you use? I thought it might be a cool experiment to mix it with another wax to try to raise the FO% of your wax a bit.Just wondering.
bugtussle
It is a terrible wax. I was excited thinking it might hold 10% FO better than J223. It looks like grocery store paraffin. Scent throw is non-existent. It burns awful.
annegit
I agree. It is a terrible wax. I was thinking I could mix with other waxes to boost the scent throw but it ruined every candle I made. Unfortunately I bought a case of it and it is worthless.:undecided
TartAddict
I was googling this wax yesterday (was excited by the 20% FO spec). All I got was bad reviews. Guess it's not as good as it seems.
topofmurrayhill
Is it actually still around? I don't see any suppliers and it doesn't seem to be on the Astorlite product list.
SatinDucky
That's what those people who make triple-scented candles use
annegit
IGI bought out Honeywell Astorlite so I guess they discontinued it because it was so bad.
