Georgia
I love J223 - I switched because my local supplier doesn't carry it and shipping is a bite. But 8 oz JJ do well with RRD40 or HTP93 for me. Can't help with the 16 oz as I'm still trying to figure them out myself!

Georgia
easy to cut - easier if you take the heat gun to the knife first!
AngelaVA
I am using J50 right now. It is similiar to J223. Can cut with a knife, has great hot and cold throw. With this wax, I use a 44z in the 8 oz JJ and a 51z in the square mason. You might want to get slabs of both and test them out. I found that I liked the J50 better because it was more consistent to wick and had a better hot throw.
