Glass Glow.....Possibilities???

Recommended Posts

Glass Glow is a container blend. Other palm waxes are more appropriate for pillars and votives. :)

Oh, and you'd never get it out of the mold if ya tried. ;)

AND NOW YOU TELL ME! :P Seriously, this past week have been messing around with glass glow and starburst. Apparently I mixed up when I put wax into mold and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why the damn wax wouldn't come out of the mold. Remelted that sucker 3 times before it occured to me that it's glass glow instead of starburst. Ughhh....I must have had a brain fart or something!

But yes, Stella is right, trust me! You will never get the glass glow out of the mold! :(

uh oh that means the excess I put in my tart molds is not gonna come out!!!! I am new to making candles so I would really appreciate some help with something. I read in a post that I take .86 x weight of water in container and that should give me the proper amount of wax to melt. Well I had enough leftover for about 9 .8 oz. tarts. What am I doing wrong? Last time I tried using one of the calculators and oh my I had a ton of excess wax.

Thanks,

Kelly

You might get lucky and it could come out of the tart mold. I've poured extra in muffin tins they they slid out. (shape small and wider on top than on the bottom)

Pillars this stuff will not work in, it will not come out. I have a theory that it expands a little as it crystalizes. I say this because I tried making a few tea lights and the cups cracked, I couldn't figure out what I was doing but now I think it's just the way it crystalizes.
