Darbla
I'm a bellydancer, and I'd like to find a signature scent to wear when performing, and maybe make some scented products to give to the rest of my class and troupe. What FOs make you think of something like that? I've been wearing 'Scheherazade' (sp?) from BPAL but it's too expensive for me to replace when it's gone.I need to get that 'Egyptian Dragon' that's been mentioned before and see what I think about it. Any other ideas and suggestions?Darbla
debscent
Egyptian Musk or actually any of the "amber" scents should linger.
coco
I'm dying to try Egyptian Dragon as well.. Bert's Exotic Teak is one of my favorites, give that a whiff!
Darbla
Thanks, girls. I just remembered sandalwood is, I think, from that part of the world (India, anyway) so I'll check out some sandalwood FOs too. Frankincense & myrrh are probably good choices also. Scented
I'll tell ya, I think Oil of Amber at Tennessee Candle is fabulous stuff (for everything but making candles as it takes a torch to light it) and Amber can be coupled with a lot of things. There's some good and interesting scents at Southern Soapers too. You might check out some of her fragrances and there's Oregon Trails too.
