TexasBrat
I used the recipe from http://www.todieforsoap.com/emulsions.htm#Fluffy for the fluffy lotion. I put it on and it doesn't spread, I mean it does but it disappears quickly. Do you think if I add some more Sodium Lactate that might help? I also don't like the scent I chose, not much I can do there. :lipsrseal

TexasBrat
Is there a way to save the current batch? Like add more?
Candle Man
I don't think you can save that batch because you have to mix in different phases, water and oil, then combine the two phases.
TexasBrat
Well, I added more sodium lactate b/c that was added after the lotion mixture cooled and that worked. Went on smooth and soaked in quickly but was not hard to rub in all the way to the end. Now I just need to work on a scent. Thanks for the suggestions. Purple Lilac
Congratulations on your lotion. Lotion is more forgiving than soap - you can gently warm the lotion ( til it starts to melt) and re mix. You may have to add more of your ingredients that are heat sensitive ( ie, preservative, vit E etc)
