Lady Di
I'm proficient at making CP soap. Tonight I was going to try my hand at making cream soap. I just read my recipe, and have decided I don't understand it!This recipe uses a combination of KOH and Sodium Hydroxide (for the lye). The instructions say to "Melt hard oils and butters till fluid. Add to lye water."Is this correct?? I add the oils to the lye water? I'm used to adding the lye water to the oils. Does it matter? AND... there is no mention of temperatures (cooling the lye to, say, 98 degrees). Can someone please advise me. Thanks!
