momtohaley2004
What wick do you use for 16 oz JJ? I tested CD18 in IGI 6006. I didn't have any trouble when I tested but now I have heard there is problems and then heard it could just be my jar. It makes soot on the jar if they are not trimmed. I trim so had no problems. Rae
I don't make jj, but on my 16 oz whisper jar I use ECO 14. Is the jj a 3 to 3.5" diameter? I am just now testing the CDs, but I know the ECOs work great with the 6006.
Sharon in KY
When I made JJ candles I used 100% soy and a CD 8 or 10 wick. Burned great with no soot.
momtohaley2004
What size JJ were you using? I use a cd12 w/o problems on my 8 ounce but I use a mix (IGI 6006) instead of strictly soy.
Stella1952
Try a 14 or 16 on 16 ounce widemouth jars. For a narrower mouthed jar, wick down one.
