clamshells

Recommended Posts

I used votive wax for a long time and ran out so thought I'd try my hand at blending my own clamshell wax (actually I was desperate!) I used 75% container and 25% pillar and it worked out better than the votive wax. I love that it holds up, but melts so easy. And the fragrance lasts longer now. Nice thing about clamshells, is you don't have to wait forever to test whether they'll pop out or melt.

Until recently, I made my own blend. Someone on here informed me that the GW464 that I use for my containers can also be used in clamshells, so I started trying that, and I like it even better than my blend. So now I use straight GW464.
