elitenaildesign Posted September 3, 2007 Share Posted September 3, 2007 I have been looking though what seems like a million sites for a soap mold to make lotion bars. I have seen the bars put into a tin when fisinshed and really like that look, but the molds seem to be 5-6oz bars which is bigger than what I want, so my question is, where do those that make these get your molds? For round tins I use the frosting cups that come with those Pillsbury Cinnamon Buns.(the large size ones also make great bath bomb molds - the ones that come with the 8 roll size I think). Are those tubes leakproof?If you mean the clear push up ones, no they don't leak. Personally I wouldn't use a lotion bar unless it was in a tube. I don't like the kind that are in tins.
