grama
I have been toying with the idea of adding soy wax. Which is your favorite 100% soy with the least cure time. Just don't like the fact some takes 2 weeks. Know I could use the search but as you all know, sometimes the search is full of other stuff than the topic.:tiptoe: tia
Toni S.
I just love Cargill's C3 Nature Wax for it's excellent cold and hot throw after 48 hours. Of course over time they do get stronger but you can make and sell them right away. I've tried several different soy waxes and like this one the best for this reason. grama
Thanks Toni - that's what I am looking for. Don't want to have to wait forever for a candle to cure!
Toni S.
No problem!Do a search for Nature Wax and see who the closest supplier is for you. I personally don't think you'll be disappointed in the throws.Others may have a different opinion but I'll stick with the C3 wax myself. Good luck
tmhess
I like GB 444.It is soy with universal soy additive. I get it from The Candlemaker's Store, they are in Ohio. Great customer service, fast shipping.

Stella1952
Whut Cindy said...There is only one C-3 and that's made by the NatureWax division of Cargill. And yep, Candlescience has it, has a good price on it and is a great supplier.
AAngels
My favorite soy right now is Cargill C-3 I get mine from Lone Star, but today I am going to try EZ Soy but right now after testing for a bit. Cargill wins for me.Anyone use EZ Soy?I really haven't had anything go terribly wrong yet. A little frosting due to my doing. But gave that to a friend and say How do u like my tie dyed candle?LOL She loved it.
kandlekrazy
Quick cure time...C3, you can usually burn in 12 hours...of course they just get better as they age a bit.
grama
C3 it is! Thanks all:D
AAngels
Just been working with EZ Soy today---I still believe I like the Cargill C-3 better. So that will probably be my choice now. Done testing all sorts of soy.
Stella1952
We began making soy candles with EZ soy, then quickly switched to C3 and haven't looked back. Hope it works as well for you as it has for us.
becky0404
What wicks are you all using with the C-3? I have been using EZ Soy (stopped for a bit since I was having wicking issues:angry2: ) and I am thinking about trying a different wax. grama
I ordered the C3 and also some 415. Thought I might give 50/50 a try and they said 415 good for blending with other. I ordered from CS and ordered the eco wicks. I had seen where they were recom and also the CD. CD is what I now use so maybe one of them will work when I have time to try the wax. Should be in tomorrow but got a pretty busy schedule for the next couple weeks. Got 2 weddings to make candles for plus orders but maybe I can squeeze in a little extra. Can always stay up all night:D
AAngels
The wicks I have been using are Eco-10 for all the soy waxes.
jeanm1125
i use EZ soy and just love it. Some of my scents do take longer then others to cure, but you get used to that. My customers love the cold throw as well as the hot throw. I've thought about changing waxes, but always come back to this one.
