Aspirin in Soap?

Well, hmmm. Aspirin is really acetylsalicylic acid which will probably be dramatically affected by the addition of a strong base (lye = sodium hydroxide). So I'm betting there will be a radical change which I imagine will impact it's effectiveness.

I think the effect of aspirin on acne is in a leave on product. Hence the mask. I'm thinking in soap it would just be washed off. Plus, you'd probably have to use a lot of it to work. Then again, you won't know until you try...and report back here! :D
