Tricia76
I burn my candle and after it dries back up it looks white where it dried its not the color of the candle in that spot where it burned. So it just doesn't look right.
homecomfort
What wax are you using? Sounds to me like you are experiencing the dreaded "frost" that many soy waxes create (espeically if you use dyes). If you do a search on here for frost you will find TONS of threads on this topic. The latest craze to be rid of the nasty white stuff is to use Coconut Oil. If you search for Coconut Oil or CO you will gets lots of info on this idea too!

theresa t
If you are using soy then that may be what is going on. I have the same thing happen with my soy candles but only with certain dyes. I've not tried the CO yet so very interested in reading up on this! Let me know how it turns out for you!
kimmeroo
I get that with my paraffin candles.I think..I may be wrong...but when you burn the candle maybe the color burns out and it looks kinda whitish, where it had been melted. That is just my observation and opinion.:embarasse Kimmeroo
