Crystala25
For those that make sugar scrubs which of these two oils do you prefer in them and why? Jojoba or castor?
TexasBrat
Jojoba, label appeal.
mystical_angel1219
Jojoba, it has label appeal and great moisturizing properties.Castor is a very heavy oil. It is good for glide, but in high percentages I would think the scrub would be difficult to rinse off the skin. Not to mention that it would make the shower/tub extremely slippery. CBE
I did a scrub in just castor oil one time, it was great at first, then after a few days... it really had an off smell. Ugh. Never again.

Ann M
I use about 10% castor and love the feel of it. I really miss it when I don't use it in my scrubs.Ann M
